Homer Reynolds, Jr

On January 16, 2017, Homer Reynolds Jr., 82, of Lakeland, passed away at his home. Homer was born on March 4, 1934, in Baltimore Maryland to the late Minnie and Homer Reynolds Sr. Homer is preceded in death by four of his nine siblings: his brothers Kenneth, Ben, and Joseph and his sister Mary. His surviving five siblings are his sisters Lenora Wood, Rose Marie Wood, and Evelyn Wilson and his brothers, Rocky Sr. and John.

Homer is survived by his devoted wife, Wilma Lee Reynolds, his three sons, his daughter, and his seven grandchildren. His oldest son is Homer III with wife, Tikia. His next oldest son is Daniel with his wife, Lisa, and their three daughters, Mikayla, Alana, and Sierra. His daughter is Patricia with her fiancé, Richard Gordon Jr., her son Robert Quasney III, and their daughter Maddison. His youngest son is Roger with his wife Nikki and their son Eli and daughter Elsa.

Homer enjoyed fishing, reading books, playing the guitar while singing, telling jokes, spending time with his family, and sharing his faith with others.

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy), Glen Burnie, MD 21061 on Sunday, Jan 22 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.

A Celebration Service will be held at Chesapeake Christian Center, 206 Weston Woods Drive,
Pasadena, MD 21122, on Monday, Jan 23 at 12:30 pm, interment Maryland Veterans Cemetery Crownsville.

Flowers are appreciated. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to his beloved wife, Wilma Reynolds, are preferred.
