Howard Jackson

Howard M. Jackson, 78, of Millersville, passed away at his home on April 20, 2017. He was born in Baltimore to the late Roland and Carrie Jackson. He honorably served his country in the Navy from 1956-1959. Howard enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, playing Blackjack, watching Western and Mafia movies, horseracing and baseball. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Anita; granddaughter, Dawn Jackson; and three brothers, Jerry, Joseph and Roland Jr.
Howard is survived by his children, Tom Jackson, John Jackson and his wife, Tina and Terri Jackson; grandchildren, David Cheek, Johnny Jackson, Anita Cheek and Cameron Jackson; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Monday, April 24th from 3-5 & 7-9 pm. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, 1 PM, in the funeral home chapel. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park.
