On June 2, 2006, Howard M. Wagner Jr. passed away at his home in Florida. Howard lived in Florida for 3 years, and prior to that was a lifelong resident of Ferndale. Devoted husband for 58 years to Ethel E. Wagner (nee Barling); Beloved father of Edward Wagner and Shirley Siemer; Loving brother of Douglas Wagner; Cherished grandfather of 3 and great-grandfather of 2. Howard was born in Boundbrook, New Jersey. He served his country in the United States Army during WWII and was awarded the prestigious Purple Heart. For 39 years he worked for Baltimore Gas & Electric as an Overhead Supervisor until he retired. He was a member of the Ferndale UMC, the VFW and the Military Order of the Purple Heart. Howard enjoyed growing flowers, especially all varieties of orchids. He also enjoyed his church and gardening.
