Hoyle Ellison, 77, a resident of Glen Burnie for 35 years died peacefully in his home surrounded by his family January 11, 2012. He was born in Duff, TN December 2, 1934. Hoyle worked at W. R. Grace in Curtis Bay for 37 years and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working on cars. He is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Jeannette Ellison; his son David Ellison, his daughters, Rhonda Hall and Kimberly Menk; brothers Doyle, Vantoy, and Devoy Ellison of TN; 8 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his brother Hoit Ellison and sister Alma Joyce Holman of TN. A visitation will be 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., January 16 at Singleton's Funeral Home in Glen Burnie. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m., January 17 at Fellowship Baptist Church of Ferndale, 1015 Sundown Road, Glen Burnie. In lieu of flowers a memorial may be provided to Hospice of the Chesapeake as a donation in Hoyle's memory (http://www.hospicechesapeake.org/support-donate/online-donation-form).
