IDA MAY (nee Krausman) of Pasadena, passed away on December 13, 2014. She was born in Baltimore, Maryland on September 17, 1907 to the late Nickodemus and Yedviga Krauczunas, both from Lithuania.
Ida moved to the Glen Burnie / Pasadena area in the late 1940's and finally settled in Rivera Beach, where she lived until she was unable to care for herself. She then lived at Morningside House of Friendship in Hanover and finally Future Care Chesapeake Nursing Home in Arnold.
Ida was employed as a sewing machine operator starting when she was a young girl until her eyesight failed her. She was very active in her church and Alanon. Ida loved dancing and enjoyed traveling.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Joseph Martinek and also her 2nd husband, Frank May; son, Richard Martinek; and two daughters, Phyllis Palumbo and Lyn Burtis.
Ida is survived by her son, Donald Martinek of Punta Gorda, Fl.; brother, Phillip Krausman of Lake Charles, La.; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
