Inge Ford

Inge Maria Ford, 82, of Severn, passed away on May 2, 2016 at her home. She was born in Wurzburg, Germany on July 25, 1933 to the late Richard and Amilia Igers. She was employed with the United States Army as a contractor. Inge was a member of the Protestant Women of the Chapel, District 32 Democratic Club, and the Historic Main Post Chapel at Fort Meade. She was an active volunteer with Red Cross at Kimbrough Fort Meade and Anne Arundel County Blood Drives. Inge enjoyed strolling through the park, socializing, and volunteering with various organizations. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her devoted husband of 50 years, John Ford.
Inge is survived by her loving children, Edmund Ford, Peter Ford and his wife Rosita, Richard Ford, Diane Ford and her husband Eric Mumma, and Patty Ford and her husband Terry Grezlik; her beloved grandchildren, Raymond Ford, Peter Ford Jr, and Patty Ford; five cherished great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; and her dear sister, Helga Hunter.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the American Heart Association, 415 North Charles Street, Baltimore, MD 21201. Arrangements were entrusted to Singleton Funeral and Cremation Services.
