Irene Rattell

On June 17, 2008, Irene S. Rattell of Glen Burnie. Beloved wife of the late Earl R. Rattell of 45 years, devoted mother and mother in law of, Carol & Roger Simer and Richard & Kathleen Rattell; fond sister of Mary "Babe" Reardon; cherished grandmother of, Lori Collier, Jeffrey & Brad Rattell, and Greg Simer; caring great-grandmother of, Rylan, Carson & Devlan, Collier, Payton Elisabth, & Delany Ann Simer, Joshua and Claire Paige Rattell; Mrs. Rattell was preceeded in death by one brother, Bill Schwarz. Mrs. Rattell was born in Massachusetts in 1919. She was an employee at Westinghouse Electric Company for 25 years, and retired in 1978 one month after her husband. Mrs. Rattell was a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, the Road Runners Senior Club and the Linthicum Senior Club. She enjoyed reading, traveling and walking. She loved sweets and desserts. Her motto was "Eat your dessert first". She loved spending time with her family.
