Irmgard Snyder

Irmgard Elisabeth Snyder "Emmy", 83, of Pasadena, Maryland. Beloved grandmother, wife, and mother, died on June 23, 2007. Emmy passed unexpectedly at Baltimore Washington Memorial Hospital while recovering from an emergency surgery. She was surrounded by family and close friends. Emmy was born on July 8, 1923 in Gernsheim, Germany, to Anna and Ludwig Andel. She was a very beloved, kind and giving person. She enjoyed spending time on the water, crabbing, swimming and loved making crafts. Beloved sister of Lucie Hetfleisch; devoted mother of Fred Snyder, JoAnna Wilkens, Richard Snyder, Cindy Harless and Kim Toskov; Cherished grandmother of six and great-grandmother of five - all of whom she loved very deeply. Emmy was preceded in death by her loving husband of 26 years, Fred Snyder. She resided with her daughter Kimberly. The family would like to give special thanks to friends from the New Hope Community Church, where Emmy was a member, for their prayer support.
