Jack Bright

On October 13, 2008, Jack Bright of Linthicum, MD died due to complications following open heart surgery. Beloved husband of 57 years of Julia Bright. Devoted father of Kathy Ready, Dennis Bright and Michael Bright. Loving grandfather of 5. Dear brother of Guyotha Plecker, Doris Belagyi, Leona Evans, Janet Armstrong, Ruth Bright and James Bright. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Jack was born in Millboro, VA in 1923. He was an Apprentice Seaman in the U.S. Navy Reserves. He was a truck driver with East Coast Freight for 8 years. He was then with Anchor Motor Freight for 25 years. Jack had many hobbies including yardwork, chatting with his neighbors, wildlife and watching TV. He loved showing pictures of his grandkids to people and sharing stories of his life on the farm. He loved country music, especially Johnny Cash and Deana Carter's "Strawberry Wine". He had a great sense of humor and liked to stay positive. He will be greatly missed.
