Jack Stern

On July 26, 2008, Jack Albert Stern of Glen Burnie, MD. Beloved husband of 61 years of Frances Stern. Devoted father of Pam Wilson, Jeff Stern, Lori Stump and Lisa DeLauder; loving brother of Rose Miller, Frank Stern, William Stern, Herbert Stern, Ernest Stern and Marlin Stern; loving grandfather of 5 and great-grandfather of 8. Jack was born in Somerset County, Pennsylvania in 1924. He was a member of the United States Marine Corps from 1943 to 1945 as a Corporal. He was stationed in South Pacific Theater-Iwo Jima. When he returned home, he then worked as a Mason for 40 years. Jack was a member of the American Legion, Post 297. He enjoyed many hobbies including woodworking, landscaping and brick laying. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family.
