James Potter

James B. Potter, 73, of Glen Burnie, went home to be with the Lord on May 5, 2014. He was born on October 1, 1940 in Beech Mountain, NC. He served his country in the United States Army and was the owner of North Arundel Builders. Jay was a longtime member of Arundel Christian Church and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially with the love of his life Fran. He was a hard worker and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Fran; three children, Teresa Sederstrom and husband Thomas, Rick Potter and wife Ruby and Tammi Dawson and husband John; eight grandchildren, Stephen, Tasha, Daniel, Sarah, Michelle, Zach, Mallorie and Abby; four great-grandchildren, Nathaniel, Elijah, Tori and Lilly; and two sisters, Bernetta Andrews and Deloris Jenkins. He was a special Boppy to all who knew him. Jay was preceded in death by his sisters, Helen Potter, Louise Livingston, Mae Owens, Gertrude Shook and Mona Sue McCoury.
