James Bishop

On September 14, 2014, Mr. James L. Bishop passed away at Mercy Medical Center after a long illness. Jim was born in Hartselle, AL on April 18, 1959 to Rev. James E. and Ila Jo Bishop. He was in the first graduating class of Old Mill High School, 1977. Prior to his illness, Jim was a night time manager at Frank's Den for 17 years. Mr. Bishop was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, and was known as a "jokester". He enjoyed cooking on the grill, watching NASCAR, working with his hands, and spending time with his family.
Jim is survived by his wife of 23 years, Debra Bishop. He is also survived by his children, James L. Bishop, II, and Jennifer Johnson and her husband Jeff, his step daughter, Leah Winebrenner and her husband Steve, his grandchildren; Justice, Michael, and Aaliyah Bishop, and Clayton Winebrenner, his parents, Rev. James and Ila Jo Bishop, his siblings, Jane Bishop, and John Bishop and his wife Pat, and his beloved pets, Smokey and Jake.
