James Wesley Blockston, Jr.

        On Sunday, July 30, 2023, James Wesley Blockston, Jr. of Lansdowne, MD passed away peacefully. Beloved husband of Patricia A. Blockston, loving father of James W. Blockston, III, Robin M. Stanoski, Frank L. Blockston and his wife Lori and Douglas W. Blockston and his wife Danielle. Devoted grandfather of Zachary, Wesley, Jacob, Vale, Alexandra, Lindsay, Michael, Ryan, Ashley, Caleb, Everley and Lucien. Great-Grandfather of; Leo, Isabella, Zoey, Isabella, MacKenzie, Camilla, Michael, Jr., Freya, David and Da’Kai. Brother of Rodney Blockston. Mr. Blockston was preceded in death by his parents; Celeste and James Blockston, Sr., his first wife Arlene Blockston, and sister Sandra Larrick.

         Family and friends are invited to gather at the Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, PA, 1 Second Avenue SW (at Crain Highway), Glen Burnie, MD 21061 on Sunday, August 6, 2023 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, August 7, 2023 at the Church of the Ascension Catholic Church, 4603 Poplar Avenue, Halethorpe, MD 21227 at 10:00 am. Graveside Service and Interment to follow at Glen Haven Memorial Park, Glen Burnie, MD.
