James Dodson

Mr. James H. Dodson, 90, of Pasadena, Maryland passed away on December 12, 2010 at Assisted Living at Ravenwood in Hagerstown. James was born in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia in 1920 to the late Lula and Henry Dodson. He worked as an Electric Engineer at Johns Hopkins A.P.L. for 25 years. James was a member of the James W. Bowers Masonic Lodge #173, and the Tall Cedar-Annapolis Forest #126. He was a past Grand Tall Cedar and past Supreme Director of the Tall Cedars. He was awarded the Broughton Award. James was also a past Associate Bethel Guardian Jobs Daughter. He was a member of the York Rite in Annapolis, Scottish Rite and Shriners of Ali Ghan Temple in Cumberland. His hobbies included watching NASCAR and gardening. He was the beloved husband of 69 years of Esthalee V. Dodson; devoted father of James E. Dodson, Eldwin L. Dodson, Angela M. Anderson and the late Gloria Jean Hicks; dear brother of Henry (Junior), Vernon, Paul and Homer Dodson, the late Virginia VanGosen, the late Raymond Dodson and the late Ralph Dodson; loving grandfather of David and Daniel Dodson, Donald Hicks, Rachael and Hannah Anderson; cherished great-grandfather of 6.
