James Miller, Sr

On August 11, 2007, James Frederick "Flash" Miller, Sr. of Brooklyn Park passed away in his home. He was predeceased by his cherished wife of 61 years, Eileen S. Miller. Flash is survived by his beloved children, James F. Miller Jr., Richard Miller, Joseph "Randy" Miller, and Charmaine Shifflett. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and his dear sister Charmaine Lombardo. Flash was also predeceased by his brothers Joseph and Charles Miller as well as his sister Bernadine Zawitkowski.
James "Flash" Miller was born in Baltimore, Maryland to his parents James and Florence Miller. He fought in World War II as a Merchant Marine then married Eileen when he was discharged. Flash was a milkman for 41 years with Sealtest Dairy and was a member of the Ferndale Community Club, Lake Shore Democratic Club, and the Glen Burnie Mall Walkers. He especially enjoyed speding time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and also riding his bike.
