James Griffith

James D. Griffith, 90, of Linthicum passed away on September 11, 2013. James was born in 1923 in Beckley, West Virginia. He served in the US Army from 1941-1977, where he entered in Special Forces as a Green Beret/Airborne in 1955. His hobbies included golfing and gardening, and he was an avid Redskins and West Virginia Mountaineers fan. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Toni Griffith; three daughters, Hannelore Crystal and her husband James, Rita Bell and her husband William, and Carol Clyde and her husband David; sister, Louise Pack; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
