James Grigsby died on November 30, 2010. He was born May 8, 1922 in Scott County, VA. He was the fifth of six sons born to John and Carrie Grigsby. He served in the US Army during WWII and received The Purple Heart. From 1949-1981 he worked as a sheet metal finisher for GM in Baltimore. In 1968 he and his wife purchased a farm in Clearville, PA., which he farmed and raised cattle until 2003. He built his house in Marley Park where he resided until his death. Mr. Grigsby was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Margaret Spaide; and four brothers. He is survived by a brother, Gale Grigsby, of Nickelsville, VA, several nieces and nephews, and many special friends. Arrangements were handled by Singleton Funeral & Cremations Services, PA in Glen Burnie and burial will be in Bristol, Tennessee.
