James Holthaus

December 29, 1936 — January 26, 2016

On January 26, 2016, James McCall Holthaus, 79, passed away at his home in Glen Burnie. Mr. Holthaus was born in Baltimore, MD on December 29, 1936, to Emmett and Mary Holthaus. Mr. Holthaus was a graduate of Southern High School. He honorably served our country in the US Army from 1959 - 1961. James continued to serve by joining the Baltimore City Fire Department until he retired in 1997.

Mr. Holthaus was preceded in death by his wife Cynthia Holthaus. He is survived by his children: Kathryn Marie McPhee, Rhody Ryan Holthaus, Elizabeth Anne Holthaus, John Emmett Holthaus; his grandchildren: Emmett Marianos, Padric Marianos, John Paul Marianos, Abigail Holthaus, Marygrace McPhee, Molly Holthaus, James Holthaus, Beatrice Holthaus, Sarah McDonald, Cynthia McDonald, John Micah Holthaus; his great grandchild, Noah Marianos; and his siblings: Mary Alice Byrnes, John R. Holthaus, Joseph Holthaus, and Rev. Paul G. Holthaus.
