James Hoy Jr

On February 25, 2007, James "Jim" M. Hoy Jr. of Severn, formerly of Glen Burnie, lost his brave battle with renal cancer. Beloved husband of 11 years to Carole Whisman Hoy; Devoted father of Buffie M. Hoy; Loving brother of Mary Miles and Dorothy Spillman; Cherished grandfather of Donnie Godwin Jr. Born in Maryland, Jim served his country as a member of the United States Air Force for 9 years. He worked as a Radar Systems Technician for Westinghouse, which later became Northrop Grumman, for 25+ years before retiring in 2002. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed reading and also enjoyed doing home improvements around his house. He loved animals and especially his chocolate lab "Bud".
