James Kirby, Sr.

On October 1, 2021, James Walter Kirby Sr. of Glen Burnie; beloved husband of Betty; devoted father of Johanna Dorn (Steve), James W. Kirby Jr. and David Kirby; cherished grandfather of Shelby (Christian), Destiney, Jakob, Grace (Brian) and Paige; loving great-grandfather of Adelyn, Kylan, Cyrus and Ruby; dear brother of Jesse and Charles Kirby; and caring uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Mary Kirby; and his brother, John Kirby.

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, 1 2nd Avenue, S.W. (at Crain Hwy) in Glen Burnie, on Thursday, Oct. 7th, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, October 8th, at 11:30 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville.
