James A. Kraft, 72, of Glen Burnie, passed away on May 1, 2016 at Harbor Hospital. He was born in Baltimore on March 27, 1944. He graduated from University of Maryland in 1977, receiving his Bachelors in Business Administration. Jim worked for the Department of Defense, retiring after many years of service. After retirement, he continued working as a contractor. Jim loved his religion and was a longtime member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church. He was a Cub Scout leader for Pack 911 and was a little league coach for Marley tee ball. Jim enjoyed playing with his great-grandson, skiing, traveling and was an avid fan of the Orioles and Ravens. He was preceded in death by his father, James A. Kraft Sr.
Jim is survived by his wife of 51 years, Lorraine; mother, Eleanor Kraft; two daughters, Sheila Kraft and Michele Pesicka; six grandchildren, Christopher Green, CJ Kraft, Kelly Green, James Jensen, Jacquelyn Jensen and Nathan Deckert; great-grandson, Bentley Kraft; brother, Gary Kraft and his wife, Janice; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
