James Mcgrain

On May 10, 2007, James Kenneth McGrain of Severn passed away at home. Devoted husband of June Mary McGrain (nee O'Toole) for 63 years; Loving father of Deborah A. Flores, Mary E. McGrain, James K. McGrain Jr., Nancy M. Murphy, Robert L. McGrain, Teresa M. Olszewski, Joseph P. McGrain and Susan M. McGrain; Dearest brother of the late John, Leo and Richard McGrain; Cherished grandfather of 14 and great-grandfather of 2. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Ken lived many different places as a member of the United States Army. He served during WWII, the Korean Conflict and Vietnam. He retired in 1972 after 32 years of active service. He was last assigned as personnel management officer in the 519th Military Police Battalion at Ft. Meade. Ken's interests included horse racing and watching baseball and football games. He was an avid Orioles fan. Most especially, Ken enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.
