James M. Musick, 72, of Millersville, passed away at home on Friday, May 7th 2021. Jim was born in Abilene, Texas on March 23rd 1949 to the late Homer and Helen Musick. Jim went on to join the U.S. Army, the 82nd Airborne and served his country during the Vietnam War. Jim was awarded as a recipient of a Purple Heart Medal. He was stationed in Ft. Meade, Maryland and moved to the Millersville area where he started his own business as a welder. Jim was known for his love of hunting and fishing, he will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
Jim is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Betty J. Musick, his sons, Tom (Teresa) Musick, and Michael Musick, and his sister, Pat McLaren of Texas. He is predeceased by his brothers, Doug and Donald Musick.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Wednesday, May 12th, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. A funeral service to follow at 1 p.m. Interment at Glen Haven Memorial Park.
