James B. Reeves, Jr., 89, a 50 year resident of Glen Burnie, passed away on February 8, 2012. He was born in Athens, GA, on November 13, 1922 to the late Eula & James Reeves, Sr. Jim served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy during WWII as a Machinist's Mate 1st Class. He was a longtime machinist in the heavy duty construction equipment field. He then became a salesman of that equipment and also held 6 patents in the construction field. Jim enjoyed genealogy, fishing, "yard-saling", sports, and watching airplanes coming in. Jim is survived by his cherished wife of 64 years, Josephine "Jo" Reeves and his four sons, Dr. James B. Reeves, III, PhD, Michael E. Reeves, Alan J. Reeves, and Mark W. Reeves. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as two siblings, Hershel Reeves, and Bettie Anne Wehunt.
