James Simms

James Simms, 90, of Glen Burnie, died January 31, 2009 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. Mr. Simms was born June 28, 1918 in Baltimore, Maryland. He was a successful businessman and real estate investor who owned and operated businesses in Glen Burnie, Severna Park, Florida and New York. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. He enjoyed travelling, dining, spending time with family and friends and buying and selling real estate. He was preceded in death by two sons, Jimmy Simms of Pittsburgh and John Simms of Glen Burnie. Survivors include one son, Robert Simms of Pasadena; one daughter, Rita Symborski of Pittsburgh; seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
