James Snyder

On October 19, 2008, James R. Snyder; beloved husband of Clara L. Snyder (nee Nepi); devoted father of Richard J. Snyder, Christopher J. Snyder, Karen M. Slack, Kim L. Hughes, Michele J. Miletich, John P. Snyder and the late Stephen M. Snyder; loving grandfather of Jacqueline M. Snyder, Autumn N. Slack, Jacob J. Hughes, Timothy H. Slack, Jr., Callie-Ann Hughes, Natalie H. Snyder, Sophia A. Miletich, Jack H. Snyder, Terry Allen, Korey Earles, A.J. Miletich and Nicholas Miletich. James was born in Philadelphia, PA in 1928. He attended college and earned his Master's Degree in History. For 24 years he was a member of the United States Army. During his service, he earned the rank of Master Sergeant and was a member of the Field Band. He was later a History Teacher at Arundel Senior High School. He was a musician and loved music. He enjoyed many hobbies in life including fly fishing, photography and shopping. He also loved history.
