James Thompson, Jr

On July 21, 2011 James Franklin Thompson, Jr., 71, a resident of Millersville for 40 years, passed away at Baltimore Washington Medical Center after a four year battle with cancer. He was born in Hinton, West Virginia to the late James Franklin Thompson, Sr. and Sallie Lowry Thompson. He was employed with District Photo Inc. in Beltsville for 28 years. James enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, gardening, watching NASCAR and the Orioles; he was an avid sports fan. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Mitzy Cauley Thompson; two daughters, Donna Marie and Teresa Gayle Thompson of Millersville; and two siblings, Elizabeth and Eugene Thompson.
