JAMES A. WADSWORTH, 88, of Brooklyn Park, MD, passed away at Harbor Hospital on March 10, 2010. Jim was born in Goldsboro, N.C. on July 2, 1921 to the late Daniel Henry Wadsworth and Callie Heath McClenny. He enlisted in the US Army and served during WWII and the Korean War as a Sergeant. Mr. Wadsworth retired from the Baltimore City Jail as a guard after 17 and 1/2 years of service. He also worked at Schmidt's Bakery as a breadman and was also an insurance salesman. He loved the Baltimore Orioles and baseball, enjoyed NASCAR and spending time with his grandchildren. He is the beloved husband of the late Margaret E. Wadsworth and Doris Mae Wadsworth; devoted father of Margaret "Peggy" Hobbs and Thomas S. Carter; dear brother of Carl Wadsworth, Donnell McClenny and the late Eugene Wadsworth; loving grandfather of Wadie, J.C. and Scott Hobbs and Leslie Pollock; also survived by 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
