Jane Long

Jane Pumphrey Long, 85, of Severna Park passed away on November 30, 2014. Jane was born in 1929 in Millersville, MD. She worked as a secretary for Anne Arundel County Public Schools for 23 years. Jane was a member of Glen Burnie United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas H. Long. She is survived by five children, Kenneth Lyons and his wife Michelle of Kingsland, GA, Brenda Jones and her significant other Bob Hite of Pasadena, Janice Myers and her husband Robert of Pasadena, David Lyons and his wife Lora of Arlington, TX, and Thomas Long and his wife Janine of Edgewater; sister, Mary Louise Woodey of FL; 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, Nathaniel and Mary Pumphrey; two sisters, Natalea Thumel and Lyndell Ripple; and her brother, Chester Pumphrey.
