Janet Lee Elza Russell

Janet Lee Elza Russell, 75, of Glen Burnie, went Home to be with the Lord on May 12, 2023. She was born in Baltimore to the late Marion S. Harris and Julius Hayes Elza Jr. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved her pets, Jamie and Jingles. Janet also enjoyed her flowers and plants. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 31 years, William T. Russell Jr.; and her siblings, Ronald Hayes Elza Sr. and Nancy Elza Phelan.

Janet is survived by her loving sister, Geraldine E. Elza; and many caring nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. She will also be missed by her best friend of 66 years, Sharon York Eakin and her husband, Bill.

Visitation will be held at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Avenue, S.W. (at Crain Hwy), in Glen Burnie, on Sunday, May 21st, from 2 - 4 PM.  A Celebration of Life Service will immediately follow at 4 PM in the funeral home chapel.
