Janet Lynn Schmidt

Janet Lynn Schmidt, 60, of Halethorpe, passed away on January 4, 2023, in her home.  She was born in Baltimore, Maryland, on April 17, 1962, to the late Elizabeth and Warren Wilson, Sr.  Janet worked for 25 years at Salon 1300 in Arbutus and more recently, was a barista for the Royal Farms in Lansdowne.  She enjoyed cooking, eating desserts, gardening, taking family trips to the beach, raising babies, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

Janet is survived by her devoted significant other, Steve Stanovich; her four loving daughters, Tracy Schmidt, Crystal Wade, Kelly Harris, and Nikki Good, and step-children, Steve Stanovich and Brittany Turner; her cherished grandchildren, Jade, Teriah, Jonathan Jr., Lily, Allei, Emily, Maleah, Kylee, Kinsley, Bryson, Scarlett, Jameson, Luci, Jackson, Axel, Kennady, and Baby Boy Harris, and her great-grandson, Kru; and her dear siblings, Deborah Haines and Buddy Wilson.

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. S. W. (at Crain Hwy), on Monday and Tuesday, January 9th and 10th,  from 2-4 & 6-8 PM.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, January 11th, at 10 AM, in the funeral home chapel.  In lieu of flowers, in honor of Janet, just be kind to everyone.
