Janice Sprouse

Janice Lynn Sprouse, 75, of Glen Burnie, passed away on August 26, 2017. She was born on October 22, 1941, in Baltimore, Maryland, to the late Mary Louise Ashby and V Q Jacobs. Janice worked at the U.S. Coast Guard Yard as a Contract Specialist and volunteered with the Glen Burnie Fire Department. She enjoyed music, arts, and camping, and she played in the Hand Bell Choir at Harundale Presbyterian Church.
Janice was predeceased by her devoted husband, James Russell Sprouse and her dear brother, William F. Jacobs. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Donna L. Carney; three step-children; her four cherished grandchildren, Jeremy, Ashley, Michaela, and Brady; and her loving great-grandchildren, Landon, Miles, and Olivia.
The family will visitors at Singleton Funeral and Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy), on Tuesday, August 29th, from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, August 30th, at 10:30 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Janice's name may be made to Harundale Presbyterian Church, 1020 Eastway, Glen Burnie, MD 21060.
