Jay Grewe

On April 21, 2007, Jay John Grewe passed on. Jay is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Genevieve Grewe, and his daughters, Kim Mahrenholz and Michele George. He was preceded in death by his dear parents, Augusto and Grace Grewe. Jay was born in Baltimore, Maryland. He was a student at Mt. St. Joseph High School from which he graduated in 1951. While attending the high school, he was a member of the All Maryland Soccer Team. He was a member of the United States Air Force for four years. He then spent 4 years in the Air Force Reserves. Jay was an employee of Capital Airlines as an airline mechanic. He also worked, as a supervisor, at the Ft. Meade Commissary until he retired at the age of 59. He was a man who enjoyed many hobbies. He loved duckpin bowling. He played on a duckping bowling league until he was 74. He also loved fishing. He especially loved spending time with his family at their condo in Ocean City, Maryland. Jay was a dear man who will be missed by many people.
