Jean Rumsey

Jean Marie Rumsey, 87, a resident of Williamsburg, VA for 30 years, went home to be with the Lord on July 3, 2018. She was born in Iowa to the late Henry and Marie Schilling. She was a charter member and actively involved with King of Glory Lutheran Church in Williamsburg. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard E. Rumsey; and her brother, Glen Schilling.
Jean is survived by her loving children, Kristine M. Schudde and her husband, Mark, Kevin E. Rumsey and his wife, Susan, Kirk H. Rumsey and his wife, Shanda; cherished grandchildren, Emily Knopik (Eric), Erin Shoulders (Luke), Jordan Rumsey, Taylor Rumsey, Joshua Rumsey, Jason Rumsey and Shannon Rumsey; beloved great-grandchildren, Mason, Hudson, Ada and Annie; and her dear siblings, Lucille Abshire, Everett Schilling and Robert Schilling.
A memorial service will be held at King of Glory Lutheran Church, 4897 Longhill Road, Williamsburg, VA 23188 on Friday, July 20th, at 11:30 AM. Family will receive friends from 10:30am-11:30am. Contributions may be made in her name to King of Glory Lutheran Church.
