Jeanne Shaffer

On May 13, 2011, Jeanne Davis Shaffer, a resident of Glen Burnie, passed away at Glen Burnie Health & Rehabilitation. She was born in Baltimore, Maryland to the late James and Frances Yoak Davis. She attended Southern High School and Philadelphia Bible College. Jeanne was a member of the Linthicum Women's Club and Harundale Presbyterian Church, where she served as past Elder and adult Bible class teacher. For several years, she volunteered at the White House greetings office and also at the William Paca Historical Home in Annapolis as a tour guide. Jeanne enjoyed crafts, traveling, and history. She is the beloved wife of 57 years to Robert S. Shaffer; devoted mother of Samuel S. Shaffer and wife Mary "Saionz", and Barbara Jeanne Sully and husband Winslow; cherished grandmother of Mark Shaffer, Elena Shaffer, and Herbert W. Jankowski, III.
