Jennie Jones

December 26, 1943 — September 22, 2017

Jennie L. Jones, 73, of Millersville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on September 22, 2017. She retired from the State of Maryland after many years of service. She was a member of both the PA Rangers and South Mountain Rangers. Jennie enjoyed spending time with her family, was an avid Ravens fan, loved horses and her dog, Precious.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 30 years, John; two sons, Robert Merson and his wife, Melody, Brian Jones and his wife, Jeanine; sister, Saundra Jackson; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Friday, Sept. 29th, from 3-5 & 7-9 PM. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, 10 AM, in the funeral home chapel. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park.
