Jerome Sheppard

On August 31, 2007, Jerome F. Sheppard of Pasadena passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 73. Beloved husband of 21 years to Betty L. Sheppard; Devoted father of Colleen Vittek, Jerry Sheppard, Lisa Pisani, Marc Micciche, Jean Ford and Michelle Weesner; loving brother of Cindy Maykrantz; cherished grandfather of 8 and great-grandfather of five. Jerome was born in Baltimore, Maryland and has lived in Pasadena for 21 years. He attended Patterson High School in the city and after graduation attended C.C.B.C. Jerome served his country as a member of the United States Army and received the National Defense Medal. He worked as an inspector for BG&E until he retired after 37 years of service. Jerome was a member of the American Legion #276. He enjoyed fishing, boating and shooting pool. He also liked to travel and enjoyed cooking and going to Gold's Gym. But more than anything, Jerome cherished the time he spent with his family and grandchildren.
