Jerry Volker

Gerald "Jerry" Volker, 51, of Severn, passed away on July 11, 2011 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. Jerry was born in 1960 in Washington, DC. He was a graduate of Chesapeake High School, Class of 1978. Later, he received a Master's Degree from the University of Maryland in Business Administration. Jerry worked at National Security Agency for 32 years. He coached baseball for both Greater Glen Burnie Baseball and Gambrills Athletic Club. He was also a member of St. Bernadette's Roman Catholic Church. Jerry enjoyed golfing, carpentry, traveling, and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Elaine Volker (Holcomb); three sons, Jason Andrew Volker, Christopher Arland Volker, and Michael Ryan Volker; four siblings, Barbara Jean Desotelle, Robert Leo Volker, Jr., Shirley Lynn Reymond and James Allen Volker; and his parents, Jean and Robert Leo Volker, Sr.
