Jimmy Box

On June 25, 2008, Jimmy D. Box of Severn. Beloved husband of the late Lorraine K. Box; loving father of Helen B. & Bryan Farnen, Leslie D. & Douglas Gefre, Matthew J. & Francie Box; cherished grandfather of Laura Farnen, Andrew Farnen, Vinny Gefre, Kelly Gefre, Mary Grace Box and McKenney Box; dear brother of Patricia Heaton and her husband Kenneth. On June 7, 1934, Jimmy was born in St. Louis, Missouri. He studied at Clemson University from which he graduated in 1956. He earned a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. Jimmy was a member of the United States Navy from 1956 to 1960. He then worked for Westinghouse for 32 1/2 years. Jimmy enjoyed many hobbies including both golfing and gardening. He loved both of those hobbies. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. Jimmy was a big fan of the Baltimore Orioles and the Baltimore Ravens. He loved sports. He also liked to travel. Jimmy was a dear man who will be missed by many.
