Joan Carolyn Kennedy

Joan Carolyn Kennedy, 88, of Millersville, passed away on July 6, 2023. She was born in Baltimore to the late Gloria Mary and William Marion Harp Sr. She worked at Salon Unlimited in Annapolis until the age of 84. She enjoyed spending time with her family, getting her hair done, loved taking long drives, watching her favorite soaps and Turner Classic movies. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Kennedy; and dear siblings, Jerry Harp, William Harp Jr. and Paul Harp.

Joan is survived by her loving daughter, Sharon Bowers; cherished granddaughter, Stephanie Miller and her husband, Michael; beloved great-grandchildren, Makaylin, Jacob and Lilyana; caring sister, Rosalie Buckholtz and her husband, Joseph; and her dear nieces, Stacey Riley, her husband, Shane, and their daughter, Rosalie, Joelle Buckholtz, Terry Schneberger, Trischa Schnaubelt, Tara Vittone and their families.  

Visitation will be held at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, Glen Burnie, on Monday, July 17th, from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 PM. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, 12:30 PM, in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow at Meadowridge Memorial Park.
