Joan Smith

Joan L. Smith, 74, of Stevensville passed away on January 5, 2014. Joan was born in Maryland on May 7, 1939 to John and Elizabeth Gottleib. She was an avid Baltimore Ravens Fan, enjoyed shopping at the Amish markets and dining out. Joan loved being a hostess at Fisherman's Inn and was active with the Queen Anne's Senior Center. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Albert C. Smith, Sr.; her sister, Ronnie Jones, her nephew, Johnny Jones. Joan is survived by her children, Chuck Smith and his girlfriend, Robin Wessel and Judy Smith and her boyfriend, Chuck Baker; her grandchildren, Chris Konopik, Melissa Baker, Justin Baker and Laurie Baker; her great-grandchildren, Cora and Dylan Baker; her brother-in-law, John Jones, her nephew, Reed Jones; her great nephew, Brandon Jones and her dear cat, "Cocoa".
