Joan Smith

On Sunday August 16, 2015 Joan Ann Smith, of Pasadena, passed away at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. She was born on September 25, 1934 in Baltimore, MD to William and Ella Surland. She worked as an Assembly Line Worker at American Can Company. Joan loved to spend time with her family.
Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband Andrew Fertig. She is survived by her children, Linda Appleton and her husband John, and Bobby Howe, II and his wife Nellie, her grandchildren; Joan Kern, Lisa McKinney, Bobby Howe, III, Josh Howe, and Joey Howe, and her great grandchildren; Donovan Appleton, Rebecca Kern, Delaney Stokes, Ariana Howe, Alex Howe, and Benjamin Howe.
