Joan M. Stancil, 81 of Severna Park, passed away on August 7, 2015. Joan was born on June 21, 1934 in Pine Bluff, NC. Joan was an avid reader and she enjoyed traveling, the beach and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Mark L. Stancil. She is survived by her four children, Paul Stancil and his wife, Helene, Dale Stancil and his wife, Leslie, Sandra Simmons and her husband, Joseph, Douglas Stancil and his wife, Dayna; her two sisters, Gayle Nance of Orlando, FL and Nancy Little of Pine Bluff, NC. Joan is also survived by eight grandchildren.
