John Michael Adams, 56, of Glen Burnie, passed away suddenly on January 27, 2018.
John was born on April 10, 1961 to the late Robert and Elsie Louise (Howes) Adams. He was raised in Rockville and Edgewater. He graduated from Big Bend College in Washington. He faithfully served in the United States Army from 1980-1984. During his service he was a part of the U.S Invasion of Grenada. In 1984 he began dating the love of his life, Donna Rae and after thinking it over with a little help from her father they were married on June 17, 1988. He was a member of the American Legion Post #40. He had his C.D.L and for many years has been a truck driver for several different companies, John's work ethic was second to none. When not working he enjoyed riding his Harley, boating, fishing, cruising or just being at the beach. John was a man who provided for and loved his family fiercely. He enjoyed the simple things in life and loved to have fun. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Robert and Larry Adams. He is survived by his loving wife, Donna Adams; daughter, Kristin Dillon; son-in-law, Jason; grandchildren, Liam Michael Adams, Aubrey and Ethan Dillon; sister, Judy Finlay (Billy); goddaughter, Kimberly Kirby; a host of loving in-laws; nieces, nephews; and great nieces and nephews whom he loved.
Visitation will be held at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, Glen Burnie, on Friday, Feb. 2nd, from 11 AM - 1 PM. A Celebration of Life service will immediately follow at 1 PM in the funeral home chapel.
