John Erbe Sr

Suddenly on September 7, 2016, John D. Erbe, Sr., 61, passed away at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. He was born on April 10, 1955, in Annapolis, MD to the late Doris Annabelle and Russell Edward Erbe, Sr. John celebrated a total of 32 years at Northrop Grumman. John loved all sports, but was an avid Orioles and Ravens fan. He enjoyed fishing of all kinds, crabbing and gardening, caring for turtles and his family and friends were the highlight of his life. John had a huge heart and would do anything for anyone. He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara J. Erbe (nee Dyer); beloved sons, John D. Erbe, Jr. and fiancé Tabetha, Jason M. Erbe and fiancé Amy; cherished grandchildren, Victoria, Andrew "Drew", Gabriel ("his best buddie") and Addilynn; fond brother and friend of Russell Erbe, Jr., his wife Petrea and James Erbe; and brother-in-law of Gerald Dyer, Sandra and James Headley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, whom he loved and leaves a large extended family and a host of friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in John's name may be made to Frisky's Wildlife and Primate Sanctuary, Inc., 10790 Old Frederick Road; Woodstock, MD 21163 or any animal charity of one's choice.
