John Flynn Jr

John Thomas Flynn, Jr., 78 of Glen Burnie, passed away on January 28, 2014 at his residence. John was born on September 10, 1935 in Baltimore to John and Hazel Flynn. He served in the United States Air Force from 1954 to 1957. Mr. Flynn worked as a truck driver for Shell Oil for many years. He was a member of the Ferndale Community Club, Glen Burnie Moose and the American Legion. He enjoyed computers, fishing, and British television and he also took an active interest in the weather.

Mr. Flynn is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Betty May Flynn; his children, Jane Frances Flynn and her husband, Crispin Etherington, John Allan Flynn and his wife, Maggie Flynn, Daniel Bruce Flynn and his wife, Victoria Davis Flynn; his grandchildren, Kimberly Diane Kaiser Rule, Shelia Marie Murray, Kathlyn Marie Kaiser, Kevin Carl Kaiser, Ainsley Flynn, Conor Aiden Flynn, Daniel Harrison Flynn, Ellie Davis Flynn, Olivia Rocha, Rory Etherington, Shaun Etherington and Carl Thomas Bailey.
