John Glossner Jr

John "Pete" Glossner, Jr., 86, of Severn passed away on November 10, 2015. Pete was born in 1929 in Baltimore, Maryland. He was a graduate of Glen Burnie High School, Class of 1947. Pete worked for 31 years as a salesman at Bagby Furniture Company. He later worked at Royal Furniture Company, Pasadena Furniture and finally Lazy-Boy Furniture, from which he retired. Pete was a member of Severn United Methodist Church and was a Cub Master for Cub Scouts #776. He enjoyed fishing, and was an avid Baltimore Orioles, Colts and Ravens fan. In his high school years, Pete played varsity baseball and basketball for Glen Burnie High School. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Glossner. He is survived by three children, Cheryl Burgoon and her husband John, Duane Glossner and his wife Mary, and Jon Glossner, Sr.; four grandchildren, John Burgoon V and his wife Shannon, Shannon Mize and her husband Nick, Jon Glossner, Jr. and Jeffrey Glossner; and four great-grandchildren, Cameron Mize, Caleb Mize, Daniel Miller and Jordyn Mize.
