John Hartlove Sr

On January 21, 2007, John E. Hartlove Sr. passed away at home after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved husband for 40 years to Pamela E. Hartlove; Devoted father of Pamela Sickinger, John Hartlove Jr., Bradley Hartlove and Catherine Hartlove; Loving brother of Woodrow Hartlove Jr., June Neary, Nancy Jenkins and the late Cleo Hartlove-Show; Cherished grandfather of five. John graduated from Glen Burnie High School. He served his country as a member of the United States Navy an attended MRA School while enlisted. He was proud to have served on the USS Francis Marion. John was the owner of J.E. Hartlove & Sons Auto Repair. He belonged to the American Legion Post 278. John enjoyed boating, crabbing, watching wrestling, Navy ships and had an interest in history. More than anything though, John enjoyed spending time with his family.
