John Haslup, Sr

On May 15, 2007, John "Gil" Nickolas Haslup, Sr. passed on. John was dearly loved by his family which includes his loving wife of 35 years, Adelaide Haslup; his dear children, Edie Filler, Michelle Collurafici and her husband Patrick, Shawn Filler, John Haslup, Jr., and Amy Haslup; his grandchildren, Joseph, Amy, Patrick, Chase, Jonathan, Eric, Jordan, Corey, Summer, Brittany, John and Dylan; his great-grandchild, Alayna; his brothers, Frederick, Robert and Buddy Haslup; his sisters, Nancy Tucker and the late Mary Haslup, Pauline Lulay and Beatrice Williams; his best friend, Eva Barnett; and his dear parents, Frederick Haslup and the late Olive Haslup. John was born in Baltimore, Maryland in 1940. He was a member of the United States Army from 1959 to 1961. He was employed as a Truck Driver for many years. He enjoyed many hobbies, such as playing Yahtzee. He loved both baseball and football. He was a big fan of the Baltimore Ravens football team. John was a dear man who will be missed by many people.
