John Lawrence, Sr

John Meyer Lawrence, Sr. passsed away on September 18, 2007 after a lenghthy illness. He is survived by his children; John Lawrence, Jr., Thomas Lawrence, and Susan Cross; his brother, Douglas; and his lifetime companion, Ruth Mimms. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife of 42 years, Nancy.

Mr. Lawrence was a lifelong resident of Glen Burnie. He served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII and was decorated with the Bronze Star. He worked was Vice president of the William H. Whiting Company for over 35 years. He was an avid fisherman and boater.
